Hu Jiaqi, a famous anthropologist, has been engaged in human issues research for nearly 40 years. Will artificial intelligence replace humans? We specially interviewed Hu Jiaqi, the famous anthropologist.

Hu Jiaqi believes that artificial intelligence has the ability to exterminate human beings, and its irrational development will bring a crisis to overall survival of mankind. In fact, in the next few years, artificial intelligence is likely to have a great impact on drivers, cooks, construction workers, domestic workers and other types of jobs, and the continued development of artificial intelligence will inevitably further undermine the employment of the middle class. In the long run, artificial intelligence will certainly have the possibility to exterminate people after continuous development.

With the deepening of learning, the self-awareness of intelligent robots will be awakened sooner or later. When the self-awareness of intelligent robots awakens, look at us, human is a stupid specie that can't be more stupid. Intelligent robots will treat us like what we treat to those low-level species.”

“Some companies and governments are already considering the ‘coexistence rules’ between humans and intelligent robots, but the rules have always been formulated by the strong, and when the self-awareness of intelligent robots is awakened. It will be the time all the rules laid down by mankind subverted. In nature, high-intelligent species have always despised low-intelligent species, and even low-intelligent species are cooked and boiled as food or as dolls. When the IQ of intelligent robots surpassed that of humans, humans will be doomed.”
