Jiaqi Hu (Hu Jiaqi, Famous Anthropologist): The Risks Brought by the Development of Science and Technology

Nick Bostrom, dean of the Future of Humanity Institute at University of Oxford, said in several articles that today's people not only know little about the risks of human extinction, but even worse, people greatly underestimate risks. If the program of intelligent robots developed by artificial intelligence is out of control or self-awareness awaken, it may destroy humans.” Nick Bostrom also believes the most serious survival crisis should come from a certain technology from future mankind, which may emerge at the end of this century. For example, mechanical intelligence or advanced molecular nanotechnology may drive the rapid development of certain weapon systems; the development of synthetic biology may also bring some dangers.

Jiaqi Hu (Hu Jiaqi), the famous anthropologist has studied human issues for 40 years. He was worried about the survival of mankind in the future.
